At Token, the inside echoes the outdoor landscape. And why wouldn’t it, considering that the views of the Adelaide coast right outside the windows are absolute magic? Extra consideration has been put in to highlight the expansive ocean views (hello, floor to ceiling windows!), which in turn creates a special connection to the outside. In addition to this, the home features raw textures and organic finishes of timber, stone, and linen. These refined organic inclusions are instrumental in creating a sense of warmth and authenticity in the space.

In the kitchen, we absolutely adore the feature navy cabinetry, and how this carries into the dry bar too. It has a beautiful timeless feel, whilst still fitting into the coastal colour palette. The navy cabinetry, combined with the timber, stone and statement sculptural pendant lighting has us swooning like no other!

This beachside retreat has a seamless transition between the indoors and outdoors, allowing the homeowners to live harmoniously between the two areas. The beautiful balcony acts as a blurring line between in and out, where the homeowners can enjoy the salty breeze and watch the waves roll in, and then easily head inside once it gets chilly. In the corner of the living room is a very special feature that is our absolute favourite – a bench seat right by the window, allowing for someone to sit for hours looking at the ocean.

What is so special about a home is the stories that it tells, and the stories of how things came to be. At Token, the dining table, as well as the kitchen island bench were cleverly crafted using timber from a Bowling alley by a close friend. We love these bespoke pieces and the stories they tell of purpose and passion, and it is so exceptional to see pieces created in this unique way.

Here at Style Sourcebook, a room that we particularly love at Token is one of the bathrooms. Its striking window is particularly unique, allowing for both aesthetics and functional capabilities. Every detail has been perfected, from the consistent rust accent colour, the impressive vanity stone benchtop and gorgeous tile selections.
