You’re invited to take a tour of Momo Handles’ new Paddington showroom. Situated on Oxford Street, the space has been fitted out to achieve an inviting atmosphere that feels grounded, yet sophisticated with plenty of home-like touches. Come with us as we take a tour with the team at Momo Handles to explore the details behind the space, and what designers can expect when visiting the aesthetic new showroom.
Upon stepping into the showroom, you’ll notice the handles are laid out, in a gallery-type setting, almost as if you were observing artwork. This positioning invites visitors to both observe and interact with the products, encouraging them to explore the shades and materials of each piece. The handles stand out all on their own, but there’s no denying that the strategically chosen interiors play a part in amplifying both the product and the experience.
“We welcome designers and architects to treat the space as their own creating an ideal setting for collaborative work with their clients.”
- Marc Bennett | Marketing Director, Momo Handles
In saying this, showrooms do require a certain balance when it comes to interior design. They serve a specific purpose of demonstrating the product, while also aiming to create an environment that feels inviting and inspirational. Plus, the team wanted the showroom to have influences of a residential space, so designers could picture how the handles would feel within their clients' homes. So, just how did Momo Handles design a space that achieved all of this?
Establishing a warm, tactile environment through colours and textures was key, as it acts as a juxtaposition to the strength and weight of the door and cabinetry hardware. For example, the painted olive green backdrop provides a grounded, earthy base that complements the warm white product boards. This aspect allows the handles to take centre stage while still feeling organic in the space, as opposed to the commercial approach some showrooms take.
The use of natural materials, such as stone cladding, linen sheers, and travertine, further work to ground the showroom, adding a softness that achieves a residential feel as well as a tranquil atmosphere that’s needed when making important selections.
Speaking of selections, when designers head into the Momo Handles showroom, they can expect a personalised experience, plenty of support, and curated displays, all to help envision how Momo Handles’ products can elevate your design projects. Plus, you can even book private sessions and invite your clients to share in the excitement of the design process.
Just like the handle collections found in the showroom, the space is chic, detail-orientated, and filled with plenty of character.
